Gaelic Choir

Eadarainn (which means "between us" in Scottish Gaelic) is a joint competition partnership formed by two long-standing Highland choirs: Dingwall Gaelic Choir and Còisir Ghàidhlig Inbhir Nis (Inverness Gaelic Choir).

Rather than performing solely as separate entities, members from the Dingwall and Inverness choirs combine their talents under the name Eadarainn to compete in major Gaelic music festivals.

​With a strong, rich heritage, both individual choirs behind the partnership have impressive histories spanning over 70 years. Both have won the highly coveted Lovat and Tullibardine Shield—the top prize for premier Gaelic choirs at the Royal National Mòd—multiple times.

Based in the Heart of the Highlands, they bring together singers of all backgrounds—from fluent Gaelic speakers to total beginners who just love the music—to preserve, celebrate, and share traditional and contemporary Gaelic choral music.
